Transdisciplinary approaches to small-scale aquaculture solutions for food security

The event will take place at UGOT’s marine station at Tjärnö. Transport from Gothenburg to Tjärnö will be arranged in the morning of the 4th of May. The programme includes a tour of the station and a boat trip to the archipelago and a four-hour seminar with invited keynote speakers. The aim is to broaden the understanding of transdisciplinary research methods for rural development as well as the importance of aquaculture for food security. The seminar will be broadcasted live using state of the art video conference system to reach a broad audience including students and staff in both countries.
